February 2, 2015. Oblkommunenergo’s Director-General Dmitri Budanov became a member of Sverdlovsk Region Community Board on Housing. The opinion of the expert, who runs the local communal housing services and utilities enterprise, will be considered in making decisions relating to the heat and power suppliers’ performance, Oblkommunenergo’s press service reports.

The decree on the changes in the composition of the board was signed by Sverdlovsk Region Housing Administration Alexei Rassolov.

Now the community board was set up in 2012 in order to ensure interaction with and feedback from Sverdlovsk Region’s residents and NGOs and to protect the population’s interests in the field of state housing surveillance.

Oblkommunenergo has already worked on other community board before: in 2013, the company coordinated the set-up of a community board on energy in Artemovsky. The idea was to help the energy companies and their end users communicate efficiently and to discuss the industry’s problems. Some of the company representatives became board members then.
