Avto Plus SEAT Yekaterinburg to convert to after-sales service center

November 18, 2014. Since the sale of SEATs on the Russian markets has been halted, the brand’s official dealer in Yekaterinburg Avto Plus SEAT will keep on operating as an after-sales service center, the company’s Marketing Manager Alexander Goldberg told UrBC.
‘Starting from January 1, no new SEATs will be available for purchase in Russia, yet we as dealers keep up with our business as usual: we’ll offer our customers warranty and post-warranty services for the cars they bought earlier. We intend to meet all of our warranty obligations in full. A servicing agreement for 2015 will be signed with Volkswagen Group RUS in a couple of days. And for the time being, new SEATs can be bought with an impressive discount,’ Goldberg said.
According to the manager, it is not yet clear just what will happen to the show room where the said automobiles are displayed.
‘It was just last Friday when we learned about the upcoming halt in sales, so it’s too early to say what the show room will be used for or whether other brands will be displayed there; it was, in any case, not a very large one. We will keep on working as a servicing center,’ the company explained.
