ChTZ-Uraltrac ships DET 250 bulldozer to Kazakhstan

October 20, 2014. ChTZ Uraltrac (a member enterprise of Uralvagonzavod Corporation) shipped its DET 250 bulldozer to one of Kazakhstan’s energy sector enterprises, Uralvagonzavod Corporation’s press service reports.

‘This is actually the third DET that has been delivered to this neighboring country this year. Diesel electric tractors get bought not only by Kazakh energy sector companies but also by ore mining and processing enterprises. Shipments have been handled with the help of Spets Avto from Shimkent. The same dealer actually shipped four B10M bulldozers with elastic couplings to different parts of Kazakhstan in the summer. In terms of maneuverability and ease of operation, this machine is comparable with hydro-mechanical gear tractors, yet it is less expensive,’ the corporation says.

ChTZ Uraltrac’s vehicles proved efficient, so an order for two more tractors has been placed with the plant. One of them is to be shipped in October, another one in November. The machines will be used for road-building and housing construction.
