Canada enacts sanctions against M.I. Kalinin Machine-Building Plant

September 18, 2014. Canada’s Department of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Development published a list of sanctions against Russia. The sanctions touch upon a Yekaterinburg-based enterprise, M.I. Kalinin Machine-Building Plant, Banki.ru reports.
Dolgoprudny Scientific and Production Enterprise, Mytishchi Machine-Building Plant, V.V. Tikhomirov Scientific Research Institute, and Altair Marine Scientific Research Institute of Radio-electronics are also on the sanctions list.
Besides, Canada’s sanctions involve Sberbank of Russia as well, alongside with certain officials: Deputy Defense Ministers Dmitri Bulgakov and Yuri Sadovenko, First Deputy Head of General Staff Nikolai Bogdanovsky, and Commander of the Ground Forces Nikolai Salyukov.
