Three Yekaterinburg projects get on GenerationS Russia’s Best Industrial Startups list

September 3, 2014. The industrial segment of GenerationS national accelerator contest carried a list of forty projects that won in the local pre-acceleration stages.
The contest’s press center reports the shortlisted projects were selected from different Russian cities, and they are all at different implementation stages at the moment, ranging from a mere idea to an emerging for-profit organization. Quite a few selected projects are backed up by patents and the contestants’ own scientific research findings.
The greatest number of contestants were selected from Moscow (10 projects), followed by Irkutsk (5 projects), Saint Petersburg (4 projects), Kazan (3 projects), Yekaterinburg (3 projects), and Omsk (2 projects). One project each was selected from Ivanovo, Cheboksary, Krasnodar, Stavropol, and other towns.
Yekaterinburg projects are dedicated to Breeze All-Purpose Air Condition Unit, integrated recycling of ore mining waste in Levikha, and a ball-in-tube flowmeter.
