Employees of Uralvagonzavod Corporation head plant to plant 1,000 trees and flowers in Nizhniy Tagil

June 11, 2014. The employees of Uralvagonzavod Corporation's head plant are going to plant some 1,000 trees and flowers in Nizhniy Tagil – this is part of the city's Dzerzhinsky District greenery planting program.

'Dahlias, sage and marigold flowers, petunias, phlox, and other flowers will be planted in six central streets and squares in the area and at 15 sites at Uralvagonzavod. Over 30,000 flowers will be planted on the Memorial Mound by employees from the carriage assembly department and in Glory Square which already looks like a multi-colored flower carpet thanks to the efforts of employees from the communication tools and data transfer systems O&M department of Uralvagonzavod. Besides, 11 young silver spruces will be planted there as well. A flower bed will be made in Tankostroiteley Square by workers from Uralvagonzavod's mechanical assembly department. 16,705 flowers will be planted next to the pedestal of the T-72 tank. Over 47,000 flowers will be blooming on the premises of the plant departments thanks to its employees' efforts,' the company reports.

The corporation's daughter enterprise UBT-Service is making a great contribution to the greenery planting program this year that will involve both the city and the plant territories. The company employees will plant the 'guided tour' premises of Uralvagonzavod, the areas around the administration building and around the museum building, next to Dmitri Donskoy Chapel, and along the carriage-assembly line, flower beds in Central and Komsomolskaya entrances, and square next to I.V. Okunev Palace of Culture.
