25 April 2014 (14:27)

The Director-General of Uralvagonzavod Scientific & Production Corporation Oleg Sienko met coaches and sports players from Armada Para-Cycling Club; the corporation is the club's primary partner.

'Three sports players were awarded corporation prizes; one of them was Alexei Obydennov, prize-winner at World Championship 2013 in Canada, two-time world champion Mexico 2014, and bronze prize winner in team sprint. Obydennov was Russia's first world champion in para-cycling; he actually set the world record as well. Prizes were also given to Sergey Ustinov, bronze prize winner in team sprint at Mexico World Championship track, and Svetlana Moshkovitch, bronze prize winner of London Paralympics 2012 and two-time world champion Canada 2013,' Uralvagonzavod Corporation's press service says.

Oleg Sienko pointed out that even though Armada Club had been set up only two years before, sportsplayers actually achieved amazing results. He wished them success and new victories in the upcoming competitions. The Paralympics players, in their turn, thanked the corporation's top manager for the trust the company has in them and for the chance to show that their 'past victories were not a one-time coincidence but the result of hard work' and promised to make Russia proud at the Rio de Janeiro Paralympics 2016.
