April 22, 2014. President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov met ChTPZ Group BOD Chairman Alexander Fedorov in Kazan, the company's official statement says.

'Rustam Minnikhanov stressed the important part ChTPZ Group's machine-building asset, Alnas, plays in the economic potential of Tatarstan, and said he was sure all of the plant's goals will be achieved,' the press release says.

During the meeting, the two heads talked about the developmental prospects of Alnas, a plant that is one of Rimera Corporation's assets and part of ChTPZ Group.

Alexander Fedorov made a report on the plant's performance in the first quarter of the year and pointed out that the enterprise had managed to raise its sales by 20% compared with the first quarter of 2013. This plant actually achieved its record-setting performance indicators in March – the best over the last three years (389 pumps and 270m RUR worth of sales).

Special attention was paid to Rimera's cooperation with Tatarstan businesses, for one, a presentation was made on the joint projects with Tatneft, the area's largest oil producer. The managements of Rimera and Tatneft signed a cooperation protocol in February that set out the areas of joint development: new machinery and new products and services made and offered by Rimera to Tatarstan oil and gas companies. In 2013, ChTPZ sold 4% more goods to Tatneft than a year earlier, and this year the figure is expected to grow, as the company is planning to take part in oil enterprises' tenders.
