March 31, 2014. Uralvagonzavod Corporation embarked on a new stage of company TV development: UVZ company channel will now be broadcast at member enterprises located in different parts of the country, Uralvagonzavod Corporation’s press service says.

Uralvagonzavod program creating studio started a TV project called UVZ Today that is dedicated to the daily life of the corporation’s member enterprises. The project is targeted at the working teams of plants, institutes, and design offices based in Nizhniy Tagil, Moscow, Yekaterinburg, Chelyabinsk, Omsk, Kirov, Nizhniy Novgorod, and other places.

This means another step was made on the way to creating a unified information policy and developing intra-corporate communication. In the nearest future, our own TV network will connect all of the corporation’s member enterprises in Russia and the rest of the world,’ says Deputy DG Alexei Zharich.

This project isn’t the first one run by Uralvagonzavod company TV. A program called UVZ Horizons that is aimed for the viewers of Nizhniy Tagil has been on offered on air for two years now. Another program, called Our Plant, is dedicated directly to the operation of the corporation’s head plant and has been running for six years now. It is broadcast via the company intranet onto the plasma screens at the plant’s cafes and canteens. The screens were specially installed in places where as many people as possible will be able to watch the program.
