December 5, 2013. Volchansk Mechanical Plant (a member enterprise of Uralvagonzavod) produced a pilot sample of a crane trolley with the freight capacity of 20,000kg, the corporation's press service reports.
The crane trolleys are made at the enterprise's northernmost facility in cooperation with Pyshminsky Lifting & Transporting Equipment Plant; the trolleys are meant for use at the corporation's head plant in Nizhniy Tagil.
Making a pilot sample is always about extra time spent on perfecting the technological process and organization of inter-cooperation ties. This last point was especially important in this case, since the trolley is mainly assembled from parts bought on the side. The technologically complicated nodes and parts were also made on the side, which made the assembly process slow at times. The manufacturers had to deal with technical issues and coordinate things with the customer in the process.
