Krasnoturinsk to join Northern Industrial & Building & Logistics Cluster

October 23, 2013. The unused industrial sites at Krasnoturinsk-based enterprises will be redesigned to serve as production facilities for certain kinds of building materials and spare parts.
According to Sverdlovsk Region Government's Press Service & Information Department, the launch of building facilities in Krasnoturinsk will mean the town will be able to join the Northern Industrial & Building & Logistics Cluster.
The goods produced in Krasnoturinsk will be sold through a Trading House that will be set up in Sverdlovsk Region to demonstrate the potential of the local building materials market.
The cluster development project also provides for working on the facilities in Priobye Station and Sergino Port; after these projects are completed, a railway link between Ivdel and Salekhard will be introduced in the north, the final destination being Sabeta International Port in the Yamal Peninsula.
