The revival of Asbest

Asbest branch of JSC «SeverskiyGranitnyKarier», recreated in 2005 at the place of Asbest stone crushing plant has just been hit on the investorsfocus again. The plant, a manufacturer of crushed stone and sand and gravel mixtures of high quality, historically had geography of deliveries from Moscow to Omsk and periodically experienced both rapid growth and hard times.

At this point, we can say about the resumption of funding and productionrestart. Multi-million dollar investment in technological upgrading, namely the acquisition of crushing and screening plant and all necessary for the production chain have been put by open bidding scheme. During the conversations with the world's leading manufacturers of mining equipment the proposal from the Czech Machinery Corporation Martimexhas been formed with most of the plant needs. In September this year the installation supervisionwill be carriedout, and the plant will begin conducting before starting engineering works.

The brand itself of Asbest stone crushing plant has also changed: at the place of the branch of JSC «SeverskiyGranitnyKarier» LLC «BelokamennyeKopy» has been created. The team of managers and technicians staff wasrecruited from experienced personnel ready to upgrade the skills to work on high-tech machines. The investors are planningthe creation of about 1,000 jobs places.

Valery Paderinis the Head of the new team, and now he controls the process of modernization. As a result of reformation the plant is expected to increase production of crushed stone and sand and gravel mixture to 2,000,000 tons.

According to experts, Asbest crushed stone plant, and now LLC «BelokamennyeKopy», has the potential to become one of the leading enterprises of the Sverdlovsk region in the case of investments in it will be part of a systematic and comprehensive approach. Also the elaboration of HR policy and the issue of reconstruction and building of a network of clients and supplierswill be very important. In general, the prognosis is optimistic, and time will show how well it will be implemented.
