METCOMBANK Launches New Data Storage Platform

April 19, 2013. METCOMBANK recently launched a Hitachi Unified Storage-based data storage system that aims to support the business’s long-term development, the bank’s press service reports.

The company switched to a new platform in order to expand the range and improve on the quality of services the bank offers and to enhance the company’s internal performance efficiency. Hitachi Unified Storage was selected in the course of a multi-vendor contest. The system’s increased productivity, energy efficiency, and high data storage density proved the decisive factors in the selection process.
