January 14, 2013. The Byelorussian Cabinet is planning to take part in the international exhibition Innoprom 2013, Governor of Sverdlovsk Region’s Information Policies Department reports. According to the Head of the Byelorussian Embassy in Russia’s Yekaterinburg branch Viktor Polyanin, this will facilitate the Republic of Byelorussia and Sverdlovsk Region’s further socioeconomic cooperation.

Last year, Byelorussia created and presented its national stand at Innoprom for the very first time; the stand featured its economic, scientific, and hi tech developments. The display was over 560 sq m large and comprised five sections.

During the Byelorussian delegation’s last year’s stay in Yekaterinburg, meetings were held with Governor of Sverdlovsk Region Evgeny Kuivashev and Prime Minister Denis Pasler, as well as numerous negotiations with various enterprises. As a result, the Byelorussian party built bilateral ties with the leading Ural colleges, landed cooperation agreements with Avtomatika Scientific & Production Association, KAMAZ, and Yekaterinburg Municipal Enterprise of Water Supply and Waste Water Treatment, and signed a number of contracts. What is more, the Byelorussian BelAZ was given the InnopromER of the Year Award as the best industrial exhibitor.
