Uralvagonzavod Employees Celebrate End of Year

December 27, 2012. End-of-year results were discussed at the traditional solemn gathering of Uralvagonzavod Corporation’s head plant’s employees. A number of guest speakers, winners of the Man of Labor Contest, and casts from I.V. Okunev Palace of Culture wished the workers happy holidays, the corporation’s press service reports.
First, Plenipotentiary Representative of Russian Federation President in Ural Federal District Igor Kholmanskikh walked onto the stage and gave a speech. In his recent past, Kholmanskikh was the head of Russia’s primary tank assembly line at Uralvagonzavod, so he couldn’t miss visiting his former co-workers and congratulating them on the records they had set.
‘I wish you new work achievements in 2013. I am positive that, however difficult the tasks ahead of you are, Uralvagonzavod will cope with them. However advanced an enterprise and its equipment are, however new the technologies are that are launched there, it’s nothing without the people, for whom being able to take pride in their work is a way of life rather than just a window-dressing issue. With a team like this, Uralvagonzavod can achieve anything!’ Kholmanskikh said.
