December 21, 2012. Chelyabinsk Tube-Rolling Plant (ChTPZ) announced the results of its annual company contest known as the Golden Fund. 28 workers from Chelyabinsk Tube Rollign Plant and Pervouralsk New Pipe Plant were declared the best in their professions, the company’s press officer reports.

The categories in which the contestants compete are meant to determine the best-skilled workers in the fields that are key to the plant’s activity: rollers, electric welders, rollers, boilmakers, molding machine operators, millers, and passers, as well as the best innovators, foremen, and shift foremen. The winners of the Golden Fund contest are both Russia and the plant’s ‘white metallurgy’ section’s true blue-collar elite.

The solemn awarding ceremonies for the Golden Fund 2012 contest will be held in Chelyabinsk Tube Rolling Plant and Pervouralsk New Pipe Plant’s company clubs on December 20-21. In addition to congratulations from the shareholders and the management of the company, diplomas, and tokens, the winners will also be given a very tidy cash prize.
