April 12, 2013. ChTPZ Group coordinated a company contest at the Club of the Cheerful and the Inventive, with the Crystal Helmet given out as the first prize. This year, five teams competed in the super league: Badminton (from Chelyabinsk Tube Rolling Plant’s Vysota 239 Department), Caravan (comprising players from all the departments at Chelyabinsk Tube Rolling Plant), a select team from Pipeline Bend Plant, Yin-Yang (a select team from Pervouralsk New Pipe Plant), and Whipped to Cream (students of the Future of White Metallurgy Project), the company’s press service reports.

The performance was evaluated by a competent set of judges – ChTPZ top management headed by BOD Chairman Alexander Fedorov.

‘Humor is another word for positive energy, it’s a chance to look at reality with a smile. The company’s Club of the Cheerful and the Inventive is particularly valuable because it unites the young employees, that is, the most active, energetic, and caring people. I have always been eager to find out what they enjoy laughing at, for many a true word is spoken in jest,’ Fedorov said.

In addition to participation diplomas, every team got a smiley-face cake, while Yin-Yang won the much-coveted Crystal Helmet.
