November 28, 2012. The final round of the traditional Mother’s Day contest was closed up at Uralvagonzavod. This year, 70 women employed at Uralvagonzavod Corporation’s head plant and at Uralcryomash took part in the competition. Mothers competed in two categories: ‘Great Children’ and ‘Mothers of Large Families,’ Uralvagonzavod Corporation’s press service reports.

‘Mother’s Day is your first and primary professional festival: it is the mother who brings the children up, it is the mother who is responsible for keeping the home fire burning. Raising children is a life-long job. I’d like to thank all our courageous women for their daily mother’s work. I wish you good luck in everything, caring husbands, and plentiful homes full of kindness, comfort, and warmth,’ Uralvagonzavod’s Chief Engineer Yuri Shangin said to the contestants.

The company’s Personnel Recruitment & Training Administration Sergey Vassilyev said mothers were the pillars on which Uralvagonzavod actually stood, since family climate affects the quality of the goods produced.

To take part in the competition, every contestant had to present a beautiful creative portfolio on her family successes and achievements and the talents that mothers and their children could take pride in.
