Budget Debtors Might Not Get Government Orders

Head of Sverdlovsk Region Government Denis Pasler is going to create a black list of companies that fail to pay all the taxes to the region’s budget. These non-payers will not be offered any government orders, Pasler said in the course of a government session today.
‘The tax authorities are going to help. All the companies already involved in the government contracts need to be checked before September 1. If some of them are not paying taxes, they will be blacklisted and won’t be allowed to take part in auctions any longer. If a company uses budget funds, it must assume some budget responsibility,’ Pasler said.
The head of the Cabinet pointed out that the Federal Antimonopoly Service wouldn’t mind imposing such sanctions on the non-payers. The first companies to be checked will probably be the construction ones.
