METRO Cash & Carry, Kirovsky Supermarket, Monetka Sell Low Quality Dairy Products

Sverdlovsk Region division of Rospotrebnadzor inspected 19,700 cans of dairy foods and declared 1,800 cans (9%) were of poor quality last year. In 2010, 14,900 cans were inspected and 1,700 (11.3%) were found to be of poor quality, the agency reports.
In the first quarter of 2012, 1,700 cans were inspected and 500 cans (27%) were found to be of poor quality. 36 samples of canned dairy foods have been examined for adulteration since January 1, 2012, and 21 samples (58.3%) did not meet the existing requirements as the dairy fat was replaced with non-dairy kinds of fat.
These are the sellers of adulterated canned dairy foods: OOO METRO Cash & Carry, OOO METRO Cash & Carry Subsidiary, ZAO Perekrestok Trading House, OOO Katrosha & Co, U Petrovicha, OOO LEV Kirovsky Supermarket, and others.
