The 17th Arbitration & Appeals Court accepted the claim placed by Concern Kalina shareholder Igor Platonov for consideration. The plaintiff insists that VTB Registrator declare an entry regarding his shares illegal and restore his shares in the register. The court hearing has been set for June 26, 2012.

Concern Kalina, a non-banking institution called National Settlement Depository, Partner Universal Investment Company, Dmitri V. Medvedev, Professional Registration Center, and Central Moscow Depository are involved in the hearings as third parties to the case.

Platonov claims VTB Registrator illegally wrote 2,840 ordinary registered shares of Concern Kalina off his account and demands that an entry to this extent be declared invalid. He also intends to have the shares restored onto his personal account.

The Yekaterinburg-based company’s stockholder claims he never requested for the securities to be written off his account.

On January 16, 2012, the plaintiff’s request to secure the claim was sustained and VTB Registrator was forbidden to do anything related to the alienation of 2,840 of the concern’s Series 05 ordinary registered shares that were written off Platonov’s personal account on November 15, 2011.

Still, Sverdlovsk Region Arbitration Court dismissed the plaintiff’s case.
