Avtoprodiks Gets Involved in Avtofrans’s Case in Yekaterinburg

Saint Petersburg-based Avtoprodiks had to be involved in the hearing of a court case related to the debts of Yekaterinburg-based Avtofrans. This decision was made by Sverdlovsk Region Arbitration Court.
Yekaterinburg Administration asks the court to make Avtofrans pay them the rent for a land allotment (September 2010 to December 2011, a total of 2.85m RUR plus late fees for the period between September 11, 2010 and February 29, 2012, a total of 723,160 RUR).
It follows from the defendant’s response that on July 2, 2009, Avtofrans and Avtoprodiks, Saint Petersburg, signed a purchase and sale agreement involving the car center building at 3 Vysotsky St (within a land allotment with the area of 12, 132 sq m). Given that this case might touch upon the rights and legal interests of Avtoprodiks, the court thought it necessary to have the company involved as a non-intervening party to the case.
The new court hearing has been set for June 20, 2012.
