Ural Airlines’ Passenger Turnover Grows 30% in August

Ural Airlines looked into its performance results in August 2012. The company flew 427,612 passengers last month, which is 31% more than in August 2011. All in all, 2,335,489 passengers have used the airline’s services since the start of the year. On August 14, Ural Airlines checked in its 2,000,000th passenger, the airline’s press service reports. MMK Cuts Down on Energy Spending

Magnitogorsk Iron & Steel Works (MMK) completed its energy-saving projects in MMK Group’s departments and companies for the first half of 2012. Every year, MMK implements a number of programs aimed at reducing the amount of energy resources spent: electric power, fuel, fire-fighting/drinking and manufacturing water, heating energy, and air products. In the first half of the year, all the programs were fulfilled by 100% and in accordance with the schedules, MMK reports. Ural Airlines is introducing a new flight in the Chelyabinsk-Moscow direction. The air carrier’s customers can now fly to the capital not only in the morning but also in the evening.
