Bridge over Nadym Built 20% Faster Than Planned

November 12, 2012. The construction of the bridge across the River Nadym is proceeding faster than planned: at the moment, the builders are 20% ahead of schedule. This construction project is part of the infrastructure program called Northern Latitudinal Railway that is now being implemented by Development Corporation. Illegal Lumbermen Do Ural Federal District 600m RUR Worth of Damage

In the nine months of 2012, about 600m RUR worth of damage was done to Ural Federal District by illegal lumbermen, the district’s Forestry Department’s press officer reports. 1,320 cases of illegal lumbering (amounting to 68,391 m3) were registered in Ural Federal District over the same period. Consumer Prices Increase 0.7%

November 8, 2012. Consumer price index went up by 0.7% in Sverdlovsk Region in October 2012 against September 2012, SverdlovskStat reports. At the same time, prices rose by 6.4% against last October. The increase was most prominent in food items, including strong drinks: this came to 3% this month and to 6.2% against October 2011.
