European-Asian Company leaves Ural-Siberia-Les

European-Asian Company reports it bought a 37% stake in ErM recently. Prior to this acquisition, YekaterinburgGaz ceased being ErM’s stockholder. OAO ErM runs the Hermitage Hotel and the Magister Hotel in Yekaterinburg.

OOO Torgoviy Dvor now has a number of new owners: European-Asian Company has recently bought a 25% shareholding in the business. According to the company’s official statement, the shareholding was estimated at 9.5 million RUR.

Magnitogorsk Iron & Steel Works (MMK) came fourth in the annual rating of the Urals and Western Siberia’s leading exporters carried by the Expert-Ural magazine. The rating was compiled on the basis of the regional companies’ activity in 2010, so it only covers the enterprises whose production activity is mainly concentrated in the Greater Urals (Ural Federal District, Perm Territory, Orenburg Region, the Republic of Udmurtia, and Bashkortostan). This is why many major oil and gas concerns are not featured in the rating, as their business activity spreads far beyond the Urals and Siberia.

The negotiations between Koltsovo Airport and Siberia Airlines are still in progress. ‘The airport wasn’t able to provide the slots Siberia had asked for as the time they want is overloaded enough as it is, so we just cannot go beyond our capacity.
