Sverdlovsk Region: 27% Less Housing Commissioned This Year

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, September 18, 2017. 1.074m m2 worth of new housing got commissioned in Sverdlovsk Region in January-August 2017, which was 6.8% less than one year previously, Sverdlovskstat reports. 207,400 m2 worth of new housing got commissioned in the month of August, which exceeded the figures for one year earlier by 45%. This figure included 60,700 m2 worth of private houses (-1%).

October 16, 2013. According to Sverdlovskstat, a total of 727,700 sq m worth of housing was commissioned in Sverdlovsk Region in January-September 2013 through all sorts of financing. This was 9% more than in January-September 2012, Sverdlovsk Region Economics Ministry's press service reports. Private builders put up 55.7% of all this housing (405,200 sq m). This was 22% more than in January-September 2012. It should be noted that the commissioning of new economy class homes amounted to 50,200 sq m in Sverdlovsk Region in January-September 2013, which was 29% less than a year earlier. In

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, August 16, 2017. 866,700 m2 worth of new housing got commissioned in Sverdlovsk Region in January-July 2017, which was 14.2% less than one year previously, Sverdlovskstat reports. 153,800 m2 worth of new housing got commissioned in the month of July alone, which, in fact, exceeds the figures for July 2016 by 1.7 times. 13.2% of this new housing (59,200 m2) fall into the private houses segment.

Also, 50,200 m2 of private houses got put up as well, which was 8.2% more than in January 2016.
