Over 700,000 sq m worth of housing gets commissioned in Sverdlovsk Region
October 16, 2013. According to Sverdlovskstat, a total of 727,700 sq m worth of housing was commissioned in Sverdlovsk Region in January-September 2013 through all sorts of financing. This was 9% more than in January-September 2012, Sverdlovsk Region Economics Ministry's press service reports.
Private builders put up 55.7% of all this housing (405,200 sq m). This was 22% more than in January-September 2012.
It should be noted that the commissioning of new economy class homes amounted to 50,200 sq m in Sverdlovsk Region in January-September 2013, which was 29% less than a year earlier.
In terms of towns, Sredneuralsk commissioned 871,400 sq m worth of housing and proved No.1 in this respect. It was followed by Sysert (811,900 sq m), Aramil (725,200 sq m), and Beloyarsky (686,700 sq m).
