Over 55% of new housing in Sverdlovsk Region is private

February 18, 2015. 305,800 m2 worth of new housing got commissioned in Sverdlovsk Region in January 2015; this was 5.9 times more than in January 2014. According to Sverdlovskstat, the figure includes 143,800 m2 worth of private housing construction, which exceeds the figures for a year earlier by 2.8 times.

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, March 19, 2019. 31.7% less new housing got commissioned in Sverdlovsk Region in January-February 2019 compared with one year earlier, Sverdlovskstat reports. 57,900 m2 of new housing got commissioned in January 2019, including 39,000 m2 worth of private houses. The figures for February 2019 came to 110,500 m2 and 73,500 m2, respectively. If one looks at the private housing construction sector alone, the decrease in the number of new homes and the amount of newly commissioned square meters went down by as much as 41.1%.

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, September 18, 2017. 1.074m m2 worth of new housing got commissioned in Sverdlovsk Region in January-August 2017, which was 6.8% less than one year previously, Sverdlovskstat reports. 207,400 m2 worth of new housing got commissioned in the month of August, which exceeded the figures for one year earlier by 45%. This figure included 60,700 m2 worth of private houses (-1%).
