A.K. Serov Metallurgical Plant commits environmental offenses

Ural Federal District’s division of Rosprirodnadzor (the state environmental watchdog) completed its scheduled inspections of how the government of Yamalo-Nenetsky Autonomous Region are exercising the authority handed over from the Russian Federation in terms of water use regulations and the protection and use of the fauna not listed as the biological water resources; this covers the hunting resources as well. The control and regulations are to be carried out together with Yamalo-Nenetsky Autonomous Region division of Rosprirodnadzor. The inspections revealed nineteen violations, resulting in orders to deal with the problems.

For one, it was detected that A.K. Serov Metallurgical Plant committed eleven environmental offenses, so eleven orders to remove these were issued by the agency.
