OAO Ural Airlines came up with a performance report for January and February 2011.

The company operated 2,695 flights in the two months of the year, which was 42% more than in the two months of 2010. In February 2010, Ural Airlines operated 1,159 flights altogether, which was 37% better than in February 2010.

These results were made possible due to the company setting up new hubs in cities like Krasnodar, Samara, Krasnoyarsk, Ufa, and Kazan, For example, the company now offers flights from Krasnodar to Moscow, Yekaterinburg, and Vladivostok, as well as flights from Samara, Ufa, and Krasnoyarsk to a number of destinations around the CIS.

Ural Airlines is going to buy four new Airbus planes this year, the A320 kind. The carrier intends to raise its turnover on both domestic and international flights.
