SGB offers free trips
26 August 2009 (13:31)
Sverdlovsk Gubernskiy Bank (SGB) is launching a special offer that will allow its customers to visit their relatives in Asia. Any customer who uses the bank’s money order system to transfer some sum to Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, or Uzbekistan between August 24, 2009 and October 28, 2009 will get a chance to win a return ticket to one of the above-mentioned countries. The departure will take place in any Russian city where SGB’s outlet can be found.
Among the money order systems available at the bank are Western Union and Unistream.
‘Both of these systems have their strong points. Unistream, for example, is definitely offering some of the market’s lowest prices: the commission can come to as little as 1% of the sum, depending on the destination. Western Union, on the other hand, is a global market leader with over 350,000 terminals in more than two hundred countries. Besides, the addressee can get the money virtually anywhere on the globe within several minutes,’ says the bank’s First Deputy Chairman Konstantin Lazarev.
The prize-drawing will take place on October 30, 2009 in Yekaterinburg.
