Ural Airlines to offer flight to Helsinki on September 3, 2008

4 September 2008 (08:03)

Starting September 3, 2008, Ural Airlines’ customers can use the new international Yekaterinburg-Helsinki-Yekaterinburg flight the carrier is to operate under the code sharing agreement they have with Finn Air.

The flights will be operated three times a week on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays using foreign aircraft. The planes take off in Yekaterinburg at 6.50 AM and arrive in Helsinki at 7 AM; the flight lasts 2 hours and ten minutes, Ural Airlines’ press officer reports.

‘The preliminary negotiations regarding the code sharing agreement were held in May 2008, yet some additional adjustments were needed on the Finnish company’s part. Now everything has got coordinated and our passengers can take the advantage of direct flights to Finland (which is very close to the Continent). Helsinki is a good place for air-to-air connection, with a great deal of comfort and a wide range of directions offered, says Ural Airlines’ CFO Kirill Skuratov.

Tickets are available at any of Yekaterinburg’s booking offices as well as online (via the company’s website www.uralairlines.com). For more information, call the airline’s help center +7(343) 345-36-45, 8-800-2000-262.
