30 July 2008 (09:58)

The Ural Bank for Reconstruction and Development had its QUIK Broker online trading system upgraded in July 2008, so the system now works faster and is more reliable.

The upgrading process was four-fold: firstly, the facility was transferred into the bank’s server room, secondly, the system’s central Internet Transaction Server was replaced with a new one, thirdly, a new Internet provider was chosen, while the entire system’s fall-over protection and capacity were greatly increased.

Finally, the bank provided its customers with the system’s latest version QUIK 5.11

The bank’s press officer reports the new version differs from its older counterparts in that it makes the trading process quicker and easier. In addition, some new graph-commenting options were added.
