Kinetika, the logistics company, became the Urals’ first business to get ISO 9001:2000 quality management system certificate for safekeeping and processing of cargo. The certification procedure was carried out by TÜV Rheinland Group’s Russian representation.

‘The certification was mainly targeted at officially proving to our customers that this company’s logistics services meet the highest international standards and that the quality of these services is both dependable and guaranteed. This isn’t just a fad, this is a sign of our system approach to business efficiency,’ the company’s GD Konstantin Kalistratov says to UrBC.

Kinetika claims to be the Urals’ multi-purpose, multi-tasking logistics operator with a nicely developed storage service segment. The company employs the Warehouse Management System that makes it possible to control the whole technological cycle from checking the goods in to placing them to shipping them off, which speeds up the whole process as well as makes it more efficient.

Mr. Kalistratov believes having the ISO 9001:2000 certificate is a must today, when most customers choose to outsource their logistics.

‘When a customer entrusts us with the goods flow management, we actually become part of their business. This means we have to assume great responsibility for our job as well as for the final success of our customer’s efforts. Our quality management system is aimed at providing the customers with services that meet their demands, at finding and eliminating any problems, and at improving on our business processes. Our enterprise has adopted a quality policy that involves every single employee,’ he notes.
