Sberbank’s Ural branch takes part in Financial Literacy Days

Nashi Dengi, the financial magazine, coordinated some free information workshops for all those willing to come; the event (part of the magazine’s educational project targeted at Russian provinces and improving the quality of life there), known as Financial Literacy Days, was held at the Ural State University’s Assembly Hall.


Reports were made by experts from the area’s leading banks and investment companies, including those presented by Sberbank’s Ural branch’s acting Securities Director Alexander Vasilyev and Private Loans Director Svetlana Galanova.


Over one hundred workshop attendants were updated on the issues related to consumer loans and mortgages as well as on the effective management of one’s finances. The report on the modern ways of investing one’s personal savings led to a lively Q&A session conducted by Sberbank’s Ural branch’s acting Securities Director Alexander Vasilyev, who focused on investing in securities and unit investment trusts.


In addition, Sberbank’s information stand was open for the visitors all day; people had a chance to consult the bank’s experts and learn about Sberbank’s financial services and products, the bank’s press officer reports.
