The company’s proprietors decided to offer Shadrinskiy Confectionery Plant for sale.

'Our core activity has to do with the heavy industry, so this plant is a non-core asset we are interested in selling; after all, we’ve never been involved in the food industry,’ says ZOK’s GD Oleg Tobolets.

Offered for sale is a 3.143-hectare land allotment in Shadrinsk, Sverdlovsk Region, occupied by a three-storey office block with the area of 1,888 square meters, three production shops (meant for producing caramel, gingerbread, and soft drinks) with the total area of over 4,600 square meters, garages, storehouses, and auxiliary buildings with the total area of more than 2,000 square meters. The facility is fitted with a gas boiler, a 1,260-kilowatt power substation, and a sewage pumping station. Besides, the company owns a number of mineral and artesian water wells.
The enterprise specializes in mineral water, soft drinks, and confectionery production.

'We carried out a full assessment of Shadrinskiy Confectionery Plant and we therefore believe $3.1m is a fair price that we are going to charge for it,’ Mr. Tobolets says.
