Sverdlovsk Region’s foreign trade turnover goes up 23.4% in January-October 2007

Sverdlovsk Region’s foreign trade turnover went up by 23.4% in January-October 2007 compared to January-October 2006 and reached $8.2bn, the spokesperson for the Governor reports. The region’s export figures rose by 21.6% in the ten months of 2007 against a year earlier, amounting $6.5bn, whereas the share of imported goods increased by 30.5% and came to $1.8bn worth of products.
