Western Union awards URSA Bank for network development

URSA Bank was awarded by Western Union in the Network Development category. The ceremony took place in Moscow in the course of the Customer’s World conference. The award, namely, a gold star, is normally given by Western Union to the company’s partners for greatest growth in the number of service outlets. Hikmet Ersek, Executive Vice President for Europe, the Middle East, Africa and South Asia, and Natalia Melnikova, President of Western Union East, report that the number of Western Union outlets available through URSA Bank rose by 36 offices in 2007, and the number of money orders has doubled since the beginning of the year, which certainly is a great achievement.

We hope this star is going to show us the way to go, and that it will be a developmental benchmark for our bank as well as other companies that do business with Western Union», URSA Bank’s Commission-Based Operations Director Timur Yadgarov says.

Western Union has been cooperating with URSA Bank since 1998 and has always provided customers with speedy, dependable and nice quality service, the bank’s press officer reports.
