URALMASH was set up as a joint venture run by United Machine Building Works/OMZ (Uralmash-Izhora Group) and Metalloinvest Management Company on an equal footing. The new company comprises OMZ’s Yekaterinburg-based UZTM (Ural Heavy Machine Building Plant), Uralmash-SpetsStal Ltd., OMZ DRO, and OMZ Crane Ltd., and Metalloinvest’s Orsk-based ORMETO-YUMZ Heavy Engineering Joint Stock Co.
