RENOVA Stroy Group presented its Academic construction project (the breadboard model of the future city district) at the 12th Russian Economic Forum held in Yekaterinburg on May 18-19, 2007.

'This is Europe and Russia’s largest multi-faceted area development project to date.

‘Our stand enjoyed great popularity at the forum, with several hundred people checking it out within two days (Governor of Sverdlovsk Region Eduard Rossel, Deputy Head of Sverdlovsk Region Government Sergey Naryshkin, Deputy Russian Federation Minister of Transport Alexander Misharin, President of the International Metallurgists Union Serafim Kolpakov, members of the regional government, and business executives among them),’ the company’s spokesman reports.

'Sergey Naryshkin spoke very highly of the new development concept that allows for creation of a comfortable urban living area as well as takes into account the future 300,000 dwellers’ needs in terms of commercial property, sports facilities, and social infrastructure. As this district is being constructed from scratch, the builders can pay special attention to being environmentally friendly,’ the spokesperson says.

The report on the project’s successes and innovations and the concept of multi-faceted area development presented by RENOVA’s regional subsidiary director Stanislav Pridvizhkin was definitely the highlight of the forum.

'Our unique experience could be emulated by both Russian and Euro-Asian companies in the future. The principles the project is built upon such as reaching an equilibrium between housing and commercial estate, efficient transport links, and building ‘green’ could be used for dealing with the major problems of urban life as well as for creating municipalities that are nice and comfortable to live in,’ Mr. Pridvizhkin observed.
