United Machine Building Works signs contracts worth ?4.5m with two enterprises of Arcelor Mittal

UralmashSpetsstal Ltd. (part of United Machine Building Works) signed contracts with Mittal Steel Temirtau of Kazakhstan and Mittal Steel Skopje of Macedonia for the supply of over 1,700 hot- and cold-rolling rollers in 2007. The enterprise also expects to sign ?2.5m worth of contracts with Mittal Steel Galati of Romania, Mittal Steel Ostrava of the Czech Republic, and Mittal Steel Poland in the nearest future. All of these companies are part of Arcelor Mittal.
In addition, the representatives of Arcelor Mittal and UralmashSpetsstal Ltd. have reached a preliminary agreement concerning the supply of goods made by the latter to the following companies of the former: Arcelor Brasil-CST and Arcelor Brasil-Vega do Sul of Brazil, Bremen of Germany, Gent and Dunkerque of Belgium, Belvol of Luxembourg, and Arcelor Madrid of Spain.
