Regional heat and power supplier gets certificate of preparedness for winter

The regional division of TGK-9, the heat and power supplier, received the certificate of preparedness for the fall and winter, reports their spokesperson.

Throughout October, a committee made up of the representatives of the company itself as well as of Rostechnadzor and Uraltechnadzor (the official safety monitoring bodies), and Sverdlovsk Region Department of Emergencies had been assessing all of the company’s subsidiaries in Sverdlovsk Region. Based on the committee’s report, they received the certificates of preparedness. Sverdlovskaya and Novo-Sverdlovskaya power stations that provide heat to Yekaterinburg and its outskirts were the first to receive such certificates.

The company has so far spent 1,5bn RUR on technical modernization, with 700m RUR spent on repairs, says the company’s spokesperson.
