Chelyabinsk Coal Company produces 83.5% of last year’s output in nine moths of 2006

The company produced 2,116,500 tons of coal in January-September 2006, which falls short of the figures for January-September 2005 by 16.5%. This includes 686,100 tons of coal extracted at Kapitalnaya mine and 151,500 tons coming from Komsomolskaya mine.
The daylighting operations resulted in 3,787,000 cubic meters of coal (which amounts to 64.1% of the figures for January-September 2005). The company’s miners developed 5,584 meters (70.5% of the figures for the year earlier), the company’s spokesperson said to UrBC representative.
