Ural Airlines JSC takes part in IATA certification program

21 June 2006 (09:22)

In order to enter the international community of air carriers, Ural Airline JSC is currently taking part in a certification program supported by International Air Transport Association (IATA), reports the company’s spokesperson.

Upon receiving the IOSA certificate and getting on the audit-approved carriers list, Ural Airlines should become internationally recognized for their safety achievements.

Colin Penny, an independent expert from the UK, is currently conducting a workshop for the company’s top-managers. Within a few days, the executive of a consulting firm is expected to put them into the picture of all the intricacies connected with IOSA auditing practices. During the workshop, Ural Airline managers are going through the certification programs. And, after the three days are over, the company’s management should have all the information about the requirements they will have to meet in order to successfully undergo international audit.
