Gold Platinum Bank closed down

Joint-Stock Bank Gold Platinum Bank JSC officially ceased to exist as a legal entity. It closed down after a merger with Mechel-Bank JSC of Chelyabinsk. In accordance with Russian legal regulations, this fact was registered in the State Register of Legal Entities. This was reported by PR-department of Mechel-Bank.

Thus, Mechel-Bank has become the assignee of Gold Platinum Bank in all its liabilities to creditors and debtors. Due to the merger, the bank’s authorized capital has come to 306.3m RUR whereas its owned capital has come to 715.796m RUR. Mechel-Bank also inherited an additional license for operations with precious metals. The license entitles the bank to deposit and place precious metals and to implement other operations with precious metals complying with Russian legal regulations.

The corresponding amendments have been made to the articles of Mechel-Bank.
