Ufaleynickel JSC started overhaul of converter No. 5 located at the company’s smeltery. Within the last week, the preparation of shelerter shell to dismantling was completed including the removal of the wrapper plate, the dust-hood and the end covers and dismantling of operating platforms. The dismantling of the old converter case was executed by means of two cranes. All the scheduled overhaul operations have been carried out in strict accordance with the company’s plan. The converter overhaul will have been completed before the end of the present month, the spokesperson for Ufaleynickel said to UrBC representative.
