Sverdlovsk Region: Meat Production Down 7%

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, January 24, 2020. Sverdlovsk Region’s agribusinesses produced less of every type of animal produce last year compared with one year previously, Sverdlovskstat reports.
Milk output dropped by 5.4% (from 119,300,000 kg down to 113,200,000 kg), egg output dropped by 3.5% (from 44.1m units down to 42.6m units), and meat and poultry output dropped by 7% (from 42,900,000 kg down to 40,100,000 kg).
As for the output of all the agribusinesses in the Middle Urals combined (including agricultural organizations, private households, and farms), that of milk rose from 739,600,000 kg to 762,500,000 kg, that of eggs rose from 1.5734bn units to 1.5712bn units, and that of meat and poultry rose from 272,400,000 kg to 274,400,000 kg.
