Yekaterinburg: District Akademicheskiy Project Developers Win Tatishchev and de Gennin Award

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, November 20, 2019. District Akademicheskiy Project developers won the Tatishchev and de Gennin Award; the awarding ceremony took place at Yekaterinburg Chamber Theater on November 18, 2019.
President at KORTROS Group and Member of the BOD at RSG-Akademicheskoye Veniamin Golubitsky won the Tatishchev and de Gennin Award with the District Akademicheskiy Project in Contribution to Economy and Urban Development.
Members of the BOD at RSG-Akademicheskoye Alexei Vorobyov and Viktor Maslakov, Estate Financing Director at Sberbank of Russia’s Ural branch Nina Sogrina, and Chair of Sberbank of Russia’s Ural branch Vladimir Cherkashin also won the award.
Prior to the ceremony, Veniamin Golubitsky held a press briefing where he talked about the plans to introduce more housing infrastructure in District Akademicheskiy in Yekaterinburg. According to Golubitsky, they currently keep working on all the key design characteristics of the project.
‘This is Russia’s first housing project to get implemented in accordance with the environmental standards, with three times as many trees and shrubs as is prescribed by the normative requirements, and with cycling lanes. We also intend to prepare for the Universiade and to put up Tennis Palace and Judo Palace within the next two years as well as to turn the embankment of the Patrushikha River into a nice-looking pedestrian area. We are currently creating a large park in Akademicheskiy as well. In terms of housing, we’re introducing Smart Home technologies there. This project is ahead of many developments under way at the moment,’ President at KORTROS Group Veniamin Golubitsky said.
