UrBC, Yekaterinburg, April 12, 2019. Passengers on Ural Airlines’ flights can now have their luggage insured with Renaissance Insurance during the check-in at Yekaterinburg’s Koltsovo Airport, the air carrier’s press service reports.

‘For as little as RUB 100, you can have your luggage insured against loss, damage, or pickup delay (up to RUB 45,000),’ the press service says.

You get the insurance payment in case of the following:

— irreparable loss (RUB 1,500 per kg, RUB 45,000 max);

— damage (the insurance covers the cost of repairs, RUB 45,000 max);

— luggage pickup delay (RUB 500 for every full hour of delay starting with the 5th hour, RUB 45,000 max).

You can get the insurance policy at the check-in desk for RUB 100 per every piece of luggage. The service is now available at Koltsovo Airport.
