Russia’s Fast Food Market Loses 1.3% in QIII’18

7 December 2018 (09:59)

UrBC, Moscow, December 7, 2018. Russia’s fast food restaurant market shrank 1.3%, in money terms, in the third quarter of the year compared with one year earlier. Still, it turns out that the number of times Russians tended to eat at fast food venues increased by 3% in the third quarter compared with the second one.

According to Romir Holding, McDonalds, KFC, and Burger King are still the market’s top three. Customers, however, are growing increasingly picky about the range of food items on offer, which is why the fast food market players have to keep launching new deals and promotion offers.
